Arthur is a dapple grey percheron stallion who stands at 16.1 hands and approximately 1300 Lbs. Arthur was born black and has lightened with age; we expect that he will eventually turn white! One look at Arthur almost always evokes a "Wow!" response. This majestic stallion is every bit as gentle as he looks and more. Arthur has a nice sloped shoulder that is rarely seen among percherons, a long gorgeous mane and tail, and big beautiful eyes. Contrary to your typical percheron, Arthur produces foals that are very comfortable saddle horses, very smooth riding and elastic. We believe that Arthur is homozygous black, meaning he will not produce a sorrel foal. He consistantly produces blue roan, bay roan, dapple gray and black foals on bay and sorrel mares!!! The "drafty" trait so evident in most Percherons is virtually absent in this beautiful stallion's babies, babies so gentle and sensible that they would make superior disability and lesson horses - or foals so versatile that they compete in rodeo, excel in jumping or dressage, and will make you proud on those rugged trail rides. Not only that, but Arthur's foals are infamously beautiful and uniquely colored, sporting that classic "english" look! Arthur is not registered at this time. Please be patient if you are looking to breed for a PHAOA, ASR or AWS foal - we are looking into getting him registered now. Thank you!

The Percheron Cross (Percheron X Light Breeds)
Our Percheron crosses are the best of both worlds, sport horses suitable in divisions each breed on its own will not satisfy. They are known for being talented dressage and jumping horses, superior mountain trail horses, and excellent beginner horses to build confidence in new riders.
The dense bone provided by the Percheron blood is able to capacitate larger riders and high performance events, and the percheron temperament is docile enough for husbands and your smallest riders. Our Percheron Crosses average from 14.3 - 16 hands and 1000 - 1300 lbs, and are known for beauty, smooth gates and unique color, as well as the ability to compete and build confidence in beginners. Every family should have one around for guests and children.
