Black Dove Horses is a small local Christian family establishment
fifteen minutes outside of Spokane. We are from a family line of
experienced western horse enthusiasts, and appreciate animals with
fine temperament, breeding, conformation, and beauty. Select mares

a small selection of quality APHA, AQHA, Pinto and Percheron Cross

The
Percheron Cross
(Ultimate Family Sport Horse) Our
Percheron crosses are the best of both worlds,
sport horses suitable in divisions each breed on its own will
not satisfy. They are known for being talented dressage and jumping
horses, superior mountain trail horses, and excellent beginner
horses to build confidence in beginner riders.
The dense bone provided by the Percheron blood is able to capacitate
larger riders, and the percheron temperament is docile enough
for husbands and your smallest riders. Our Percheron Crosses average
from 14.3 - 16 hands and 1000 - 1300 lbs, and are known for beauty,
smooth gates and unique color, as well as the ability to compete
and build confidence in beginners.
Every family should have one around for guests, beginners and
children. These crosses are also the economical choice; they only
need about half as much hay as a straightbred!
